What it helps

Where it works.

Good fit, not a fit

Who it’s for, and who it isn’t.

A good fit if

  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • A first visit, if you are not ready for anything else
  • A regular reset between other treatments

Not a fit if

  • A sunburn or broken skin on your face
  • A recent peel or laser treatment. Wait until your skin has healed
  • Isotretinoin in the last 6 months. Tell us, and we will adjust or wait

How it works

In plain words.

A licensed esthetician cleans your skin, loosens dead skin cells, clears congestion if you want that, and finishes with a mask, moisturizer and sunscreen. There is no needle involved, and you can go straight back to your day.

Your visit

What actually happens.

  1. Skin chat

Five minutes on what your skin has been doing, and anything we should avoid.

  2. See your total

The price is on the menu, and any add-on is offered with its price before we start. Saying no is fine.

  3. Facial

Fifty minutes, no needles. You can have as much or as little conversation as you like.

  4. Aftercare

Wear SPF, and skip strong acids or retinoids for a day or two. That is it.

Risks and safety

The part most sites skip.

Common

Temporary redness. Sometimes a few small breakouts in the days after as congestion clears.

Less common

Irritation or a reaction to a product. Tell us about any allergies first.

Serious

Serious problems are uncommon. Tell us if you have a skin infection or are using prescription skin medicine, as some steps may need to change.

Performed by a licensed esthetician. This is a cosmetic treatment, not treatment of a medical skin condition. Ask to see the product’s full safety information at your consult.

Medical review: sample copy, pending review by the medical director. Every treatment page must be approved before going live.

FAQ

Real questions.

I have never had a facial. Is that okay?

Yes, it is a good place to start. Tell us if anything feels uncomfortable and we will stop or change it.

Will you try to sell me products?

No. We will tell you what your skin could use if you ask, and there is no pressure to buy anything.

Will it make me break out?

A few small spots can appear as congestion clears, but they tend to settle quickly. Let us know if your skin is reactive.

Can I wear makeup after?

You can, but your skin will look better if you can leave it bare for the rest of the day.

How often should I come?

Monthly works well, because skin renews itself about that often. Coming less often is fine too.

Can I come during pregnancy?

Usually yes, with some adjustments. Tell us when you book, so we can leave out certain ingredients.
