What it helps

Where it works.

Good fit, not a fit

Who it’s for, and who it isn’t.

A good fit if

  • Shallow acne scars and rough texture
  • Fine lines, without any injectable
  • Most skin tones, with less risk of color change than many lasers

Not a fit if

  • Active acne, cold sores or infection in the area
  • Isotretinoin in the last 6 months
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • A tendency to form raised scars. Tell us, as this may rule it out

How it works

In plain words.

A pen with very fine needles makes thousands of tiny, shallow channels in your skin. Your skin responds by making new collagen, the protein that keeps it firm and smooth. That takes weeks, so the result builds slowly over a few sessions.

Your visit

What actually happens.

  1. Free consult

Tell us what you have noticed. Your provider checks your health history and tells you honestly whether this suits you.

  2. See your total

You get a number before anything happens. If it is more than you want to spend, we can do less or stop there.

  3. Treatment

Numbing cream for about 20 minutes, then the pen moves over your skin in small passes.

  4. Aftercare and check-in

Your skin will look sunburned for a day or two. Stay out of the sun, skip makeup for 24 hours, and use gentle products. We check in before your next session.

FAQ

Real questions.

Does it hurt?

With numbing cream, most clients describe a light scratching or vibration. Bony areas feel it more.

How soon will I see a change?

Your skin will look fresh within a week, but the real change is collagen, which takes 4–6 weeks or more to build.

Will it remove my scars?

It can soften shallow scars, but it will not erase them. Deep scars may need a different approach, and we will say so.

Is it good for dark skin?

It is often a better option than many lasers for deeper skin tones, as there is no heat. Dark marks are still possible, so we go carefully.

When can I wear makeup?

Wait 24 hours.

Can I do a series faster?

We leave 4–6 weeks between sessions so your skin has time to respond. Rushing does not help.
