What it helps
Good fit, not a fit
How it works
A peel is a mild acid solution that loosens the top layer of dead skin cells so fresher skin can come through. We choose the strength for your skin tone. Deeper skin tones can be more prone to dark marks after a peel, so we go gently and may ask you to prepare your skin first.
Your visit
Tell us what you have noticed. Your provider checks your health history and tells you honestly whether this suits you.
You get a number before anything happens. If it is more than you want to spend, we can do less or stop there.
Your skin is cleaned, the solution is brushed on and timed, then neutralized or left to work. You will feel tingling or warmth.
Do not pick at flaking skin, keep moisturized and wear SPF every day. We check in before your next session.

FAQ
Usually you will see light flaking rather than big sheets. Some people barely flake at all, and the peel still works.
Light peels can work on most skin tones when chosen carefully. Deeper skin tones can be more prone to dark marks, so we go gently and may suggest preparing your skin first.
Usually the next day, as long as your skin is not raw or stinging.
Keep out of direct sun as much as you can for 2 weeks and wear SPF every day. New skin burns and marks more easily.
Most people do 3–4, about a month apart. We will tell you when you can stop.
It depends on the medicine. Tell us what you take. Isotretinoin means waiting at least 6 months.
