Sun spots and uneven tone

Brown patches and uneven tone often come from years of sun, hormones or old breakouts. The right treatment depends a lot on your skin tone.

The short answer

Where we’d usually start.

On lighter skin, a light facial (IPL) is often the most direct option. On deeper skin tones, a gentle series of peels is a better fit, because IPL can cause burns and dark marks. We will check before suggesting anything.

Melasma, a kind of hormonal patchiness, can get worse with heat and light. Tell us if you have it. Any mark that is new or changing should be seen by a doctor first, and we will refer you.
