First visit

Nervous is normal.

Here’s exactly what happens, what to bring and what we’ll ask. Nothing is decided until you’ve seen your total.

The timeline

Three steps. You can stop after any of them.

  1. Free consult

    15 minutes

In a studio or by video. Tell us what you have noticed, and ask anything. We go through your health history and tell you what we would do, including nothing.

  2. Your plan and your total

    5 minutes

You get a written plan with a dose and a total. Take it home if you like. There is no discount for deciding on the spot, because we do not do that.

  3. Treatment and check-in

    From 20 minutes

If you decide to go ahead, it can usually happen the same day. We check in at 2 weeks and fix anything that does not look right.

What to bring

  • A photo ID
  • A list of medicines you take
  • A clean face, if you can
  • Questions. All of them

What we’ll ask

  • Your health history and allergies
  • If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Recent infections or dental work
  • What you’d like to change, and what you wouldn’t

What we won’t do

  • Push you to decide on the spot
  • Offer a “today only” price
  • Treat you if it isn’t right for you
  • Comment on things you didn’t ask about

FAQ

Everything else.

How much will it actually cost me?

The menu lists every price. For anything charged by the unit, your provider tells you the dose and the total before anything happens, and you can say no. There is no card surcharge.

Will I look fake or frozen?

We start conservatively, and our goal is for people to say you look rested, not that you had something done. If you do not need something, we will tell you.

Who will be treating me?

Injectables are done by a nurse practitioner, physician assistant or physician. Facials are done by a licensed esthetician. Every provider’s credentials are listed, and Dr. Jia Lin, MD, is our medical director.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe a quick pinch for wrinkle relaxers. For filler and microneedling, we use numbing cream. You can ask to stop at any time.

What is a free consult?

15 minutes with a provider, in person or by video. You can ask anything. There is no charge and no obligation to book treatment.

Can I pay over time?

Yes, on treatments over $200, through our pay-over-time partner. Subject to approval, and the terms are shown before you agree.

What should I bring?

A photo ID and a list of any medicines you take. Come with a clean face if you can, or we can cleanse it here.

Do I need a deposit?

A $50 deposit holds a new-client treatment booking, and it comes off your total. Free consults do not need one.

What if I need to cancel?

Free to cancel or move up to 24 hours before. After that, or if you miss the visit, the deposit is kept.

Who should not have treatment?

Most injectables and many skin treatments are not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We will also check your health history for allergies, nerve and muscle conditions, medicines and recent infections.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes. Friends are welcome in the room for most treatments, if you would like the company.

Is my information private?

Yes. The contact form only collects your contact details. Medical details are handled in person or in our secure booking system.

Do you treat men?

Yes. Men make up a growing share of our clients, and Arjun treats a lot of first-timers.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or over for injectables and laser. Facials are available from 16 with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Ready when you are.

A free 15-minute consult is the easiest way to start.
